Fashion + Photography = Love Affair

WAIT! Don't be afraid of all the text! I tend to keep it simple and focus on the photos here, but I've found a topic that I'm just OBSESSED with and I've been dying for a way to figure out how to share that here with you!!

I am a firm believer in the bonds of fashion and photography. Its a love affair that began in the 1800's and soon after became a staple featured in magazines and remains to be so even today. My dark side can tend to be a little judgemental and I often wonder if the harlequin romance novel stories of a young beautiful model, smitten by a photographer began the whole thing - but I'll leave all that to the authors.

Over the years the development of photographic technology has made beautiful imagery accessible to one and all and I can't help but get excited about it!

As a photographer of people, a well put together outfit can truly inspire my work. However simple or complex it may be. The shapes, the textures, the COLORS and the endless combinations of it all is yummy to me! Even the simplicity of the naked human body can inspire amazing pictures. So since I don't think I have what it takes to be a boudouir photographer, clothing and accessories become a very important part of what I do, and of course who we are as individuals!

So if you start to see more fashion on here - don't be alramed or stop reading, because, this isn't turning into a fashion blog. (though I love them) I want this to be a place of inspiration for my clients. To help develop a better sense of what gets me excited as a photographer and ways in which clients can enhnace their experience during a photo shoot and ultimately in their end product - THE PICTURES!
